Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Boring Pays (operated by Stay Home Trading) for use of the Boring Pays app and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. What Boring Pays is
Boring Pays is a software app that helps you research and plan stock and options trades. It gives you a stock screener, an options calculator, a trade journal, and market-data estimates. It is not a broker, it does not hold your money, and it does not place any trades. All actual trading happens on your own broker platform.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing in Boring Pays is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. The tools and numbers are there to help you think — every decision is your own. Please read our Disclaimer.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email address using a one-tap link — there is no password. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can open your login link can reach your account. You can be signed in on one device at a time. You are responsible for the activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
4. Free trial and subscription
- New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to begin.
- After the trial, Premium costs $50 per month, or $480 per year ($40 a month — save 20%), billed through our payment processor, Stripe. You choose the billing period when you subscribe.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or yearly — until you cancel.
- We may change the price in future; if we do, we will give you notice before it applies to you.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your billing page. If you cancel during the free trial, you are never charged. If you cancel a paid subscription, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Please use Boring Pays lawfully and fairly. Do not: share or resell your access, scrape or bulk-extract data, try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to break any law or any rule of your broker or exchange.
7. Market data
Market data and option estimates are provided "as is". They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and the screener's quick estimates are not live option prices. Always confirm the real numbers in your broker before you trade.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Boring Pays running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features over time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Boring Pays and Stay Home Trading are not liable for any trading losses or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or misuses the service. You may close your account at any time.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use Boring Pays after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Singapore, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
