Boring Pays is a set of tools to help you research and plan your own trades. It is not advice. Please read this before you rely on anything in the app.

Not financial advice

  1. All content on the Boring Pays platform is not, and does not constitute, financial, investment or any other form of advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any shares, securities, derivatives or other investment instruments.
  2. All users are expected to do their own due diligence and are responsible for their own investment decisions.
  3. All trading decisions on your broker platform must be adjusted based on market conditions.

Estimates can be wrong

The screener's strike, premium and return figures are quick local estimates, not live option prices. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate. Always confirm the real numbers in your broker before placing any trade.

Trading involves risk

Trading stocks and options carries a real risk of loss, and you can lose some or all of the money you put at risk. Options in particular can move quickly and expire worthless. Past performance and any example figures shown in the app are not a promise of future results.

Do your own research

Nothing in Boring Pays should be treated as a personal recommendation. If you are unsure, speak to a licensed financial adviser who knows your personal situation before you trade.

We are not your adviser

Using Boring Pays does not make us your financial adviser, broker or agent, and it does not create a fiduciary relationship between us and you. We do not know your circumstances, we do not review or monitor your account, and we owe you no duty of loyalty, care or disclosure in respect of your investments.

The tools are generic. The screener returns the same results for every user who enters the same settings โ€” nothing in the app is selected, weighted or adjusted for you, your goals, your finances or what you already hold.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for your own trades and their outcomes. By using Boring Pays you accept that you use its tools and information at your own risk.

If your use of Boring Pays causes a claim

If someone brings a claim against us because of the way you used Boring Pays, because you broke our Terms, or because you broke the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, including legal fees. This is known as an indemnity. It does not apply to claims caused by our own breach of the Terms.
