Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Boring Pays collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Your email address — so we can sign you in and send you account emails.
• Your name — optional, only if you give it, so we can say hi.
• Your trade journal — the trades you choose to upload, so we can show your P&L, win rate and history.
• Billing details — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical data — the minimum needed to run the app securely (for example, a session cookie that keeps you logged in).

How we use it

• To run the service and keep you signed in.
• To process your subscription and payments.
• To send you service emails — a welcome message, free-trial reminders, and billing notices. One clear message at a time, never spam.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted providers that make the service work, and only as far as needed:

• Stripe — to process payments.
• Resend — to deliver your login links and account emails.
• Cloudflare — to host the app and store your data securely.

Where your data lives

Your account and journal data are stored on Cloudflare's platform. Your theme choice (light or dark) is kept in your own browser, not on our servers.

Your choices

• Export — download your journal to a CSV file at any time from the app.
• Delete — clear your journal from the app, or email us to delete your account and data.
• Access — email us if you want a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Keeping it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (for example, payment records).
